This year, the demand for Pangasius fish in key markets—China, Brazil, and the United States—has picked up. This demand boost, combined with the stimulus effect from changes in interest rates, has led to a significant rebound in Pangasius exports since October. The export volume has reached its highest point in nearly two years!

Price Trends

As export volumes have been increased, the price of Pangasius raw materials has also been on the rise. This week, the price surged by 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the current price of basa fish raw materials to 31,000 VND/kg.
